Splashtonbury V - A full day of live music and fun for all the family. Hosted by local rock band ´Not To Fall´ at Splash, next to the municipal swimming pool in Frigiliana.

Friday 11th - Sunday 13th June 2010
Feria San Antonio - Frigiliana´s annual feria which includes fairground rides, stalls, discos and various shows on the main stage.
There is also a bull run through the village where the people who choose to compete are chased through the streets of Frigiliana by a number of young bulls.
For anyone who enjoys a walk, there is a mass picnic which takes place down on the dry riverbed on the Sunday afternoon.

Thursday 26th - Sunday 29th August 2010
Festival de las 3 Culturas - This festival is where Frigiliana celebrates its rich cultural history and the many years in which Frigiliana´s 3 cultures, the moors, the jews and the christians, lived together in harmony.
The Town Hall describes the event as a ‘mosaic of light and colour,’ accompanied by the smells and flavours of the gastronomic part of the celebration. Also on show throughout the 4 day event are craft workshops with ceramics demonstrations and other crafts, a falconry exhibition, daily processions, music and dance, poetry readings, plays, jesters, children’s theatre and even belly dancing.
The local gastronomy can be sampled in the ´Ruta de la tapa´, in which a number of bars and restaurants supply a tapas dish of their choice (as long as it fits into the 3 cultures theme). Residents and tourists who choose to take part recieve a map showing where to find each establishment and when the route is completed, they can then vote for which tapas was their favourite.
This festival is definitely not to be missed!!!
